The first thing to say about this game is its a lot of fun. It's a platform game very similar to Crash Bandicoot in terms of gameplay. The plot of the game is to rescue Daisy from the evil clutches of Murlock. Little effects put into this game add to its enjoyment. Examples of this are particulary shown in relation to Donald Duck himself. When he is hurt he becomes a raging little cloud with fists coming out of it. Sometimes, after he dies and goes back to a check point, he wails and throws his hat on the ground in temper. Also, when he collects a toy he gives his bum a good wiggle. The gameplay is like Crash Bandicoot for most levels (where you move forward with the camera angle on Donald's back) but there are levels where it is shown from the tradition platform view (side view). There are several different worlds in this game and in each of these sections there are four levels, one bonus level if you managed to collect all three toys, and the main challenge level you must complete in order to proceed to the next section. The extra level is available to you only after you collect all three toys from each level in your particular section. You give the toys to one of your nephews (Huey, Duey and Lewy) and he will let you in. These levels are different in the sense that Donald has to run away from one large object while jumping over obstacles and collecting stars, Camera view is set as a front on view. The different sections in "Goin Quackers" include environments such as: a town, forest, egyptian type section and more. The different scenery makes the game more interesting. The only real criticism for this game is that it is a little too easy, but there are quite a few levels so even if you complete them quickly you should still get a lot of game play out of it. In all, Goin Quackers is a lot of fun, and particulary for fans of Donald Duck (like me) you should give this one a go.
