| Twoputt99's Full Review: Royal New Kent Golf Course |
I am a single digit handicap who plays about 170 rounds per year, mostly at my home club.
Okay, where to start. The human mind has not yet created supurlatives forceful enough to describe the beauty and experience of this course. If I were to express it in terms of astronomical distance, a light year would be too small a measure. This is just the most beautiful and difficult course I have ever played, and that includes Pebble Beach and Spyglass Hill.
I am in a group that plays this course every year. We love it because of its beauty, we have accepted the fact that we will not score well so, we can enjoy it more. A par on this course is like a birdie at other courses. Even the pro does not play from the back tees.
I cannot describe the combination of beauty and difficulty. I can just say, GO PLAY THIS COURSE!
Practice facilities are good, pro shop is good, dining facilities are poor.
