Pros: Works awesomely for fine, uncontrollable hair.
Cons: Have to shampoo more than 1x to get it all out.
The Bottom Line: This stuff isn't that expensive for people on a modest budget, it works for fine hair in all conditions.

| elgatolocorojo's Full Review: Got2b Glued Spiking Gel |
I have as hinted above, lots of very fine blonde hair. For most of my life, I wore it long in a perm, and only needed mouse to control the bounce. Except for that period in the early 90s when females all had an unspoken competition going as to who could get their bangs the highest and stiffest, which only AquaNet would do- it's always been just mouse for me.
But blonde permed hair gets frizzy fast so last year I went out on a limb and cut it all off.
I now have about an one inch length around my back of my head to my where my bangs start, and I have them grown out. I know you've seen lots of women and young ladies with this hair do. It's all the rage- ha. But everything I was trying to use to get it to "do" for me, wouldn't.
I wanted to spike the short part of my hair in chunks, and kept buying gel, mouse and pomade. Nothing but a big gooey mess that might hold for awhile, but wouldn't hold up to humidity.
THEN I found the Got2be line on sale at Walgreens at 3/$10. Very cheap compared to regular price which would have been about 2/10.
I bought the screamin hold #4 gel- I call it glue.
You apply it to damp hair. Not wet, not dry, damp. Dry and it will just stay sticky, wet and it will just slide off your hair, and hands. You have a pretty fair time frame of when you put it on, till when it hardens on it's own- probably 15 minutes. But if you are just pulling your hair into spikes, then all you have to do is put whatever amount you want, I use probably a quarter of an ounze- and rub it through all of your hair.
Blow dry it and it stiffens up into points with in 1-2 minutes.
It will stay how you left it, all day. I perfer to finish with the got2be hairspray, and use the mouse on the longer parts of my bags, as well- but for just making spikes- it will be fine to use the glue by itself.
It also won't come out with plain water. I had this stuff in my hair at 6Flags over Texas this August, which was HOT, Humid, and wet from all the rides. My hair would get drenched on the water rides, and within minutes of walking around in the sun, my hair would dry back out and if I ran my fingers through my hair before it did, they'd dry back into spikes. I actually think it got stiffer as the day went on with each ride, but that might have had been the green gunky water at 6Flags!
If I'm feeling lazy and don't feel like taking a shower one night, and then have to get up in a rush in the morning- my hair will be flattened down but all you have to do is run your hands under the faucet and then run your hands through your hair again, pulling it into spikes. Probably have to use hair spray again for longer hair- or mouse.
The product has a pleasant smell, not flowery or chemically, but it does have a distinct smell. I don't always do my hair, sometimes I wear a bandana- and sometimes like I mentioned, I don't wash my hair, so I can't say for sure how long 1 bottle of the glue would last, but I dare say it'd last 1 month with daily usage.
Bottom line is I love this stuff, and it's the only thing that will hold my hair in spikes. If you can catch it on sale at Walgreens like I do about once every two months, that's the time to get it-
