Pros: Cleans well; extremely quiet (valuable); lots vertical interior space Read detailed review!
Cons: Filter pain 2clean; 2service calls in 4years needed; small capacity Jet-Dri holder. Read detailed review!
The Bottom Line: Buy but consider cleaning-filter drawback+ potential4 service problems discussed in review. Economical water/detergent usage, but tradeoff is longer-than-most wash periods. Compare with other purportedly quiet new-on-the-market dishwashers.

I LIKE:
Clean dishes
Extremely quiet--worth its weight in gold
A QUASI 21 MINUTE WASH IS POSSIBLE (SEE BELOW)
Stainless interior never needs cleaning
Outward appearance
Top tray layout and ability to handle tall items there as well as on bottom. (Wife loves ability to handle tall pots.)
Top tray foldover devices which allow "locking" light plastic ware in place so they don't get turned around so they hold water through wash, rinse, and dry periods.
Low water usage
Built-in water heater, so house water can be at economical 120 degrees -- but tradeoff is longer wash periods unless you first run cold water out of hot water line before starting washer, which shortens the time a little.
Uses much less detergent than most other washers (it washes longer with less soap).
Delay start timer
Amount of Jet-Dri used per washload is adjustable.
I DO NOT LIKE
Very small capacity holder for Jet-Dri. To fill it up I squirt it in and it "fills" quickly. I rotate washer door up to start position then reopen and fill again. Repeat 4 or so times to get the true, full capacity of the reservoir, which still is small. Only then does it last a few weeks.
Thorough cleaning of fine filter--I do it every two-three weeks, but if you rinse it every few days you probably could stretch time out. Thorough cleaning is a disassembly (no-tool needed) of filter from holder and cleaning with a rounded potato/veggie brush bent to fit the cylinder; rinsing is a twist-it-out and hold under faucet while rubbing fingers where you can reach the in and out surfaces of filter. Using this type filter probably gives more inside space to the washer and allows placement of tall items other washers can't handle, which is a fair tradeoff for absence of normal space grabbing food particle chopper-motor. Still, cleaning that filter is a pain, taking a few minutes each time.
EXPERIENCES
Original push button cycle control switch module failed during the warranty period (because of faulty Siemens design) and was replaced free with a more durable module which I presume is in current models.
Soap holder intermittently stuck in closed position after two years. Now, after four it often sticks closed. This has not been a problem with powder detergents as the soap still dissolves leaving the soap holder empty, but it still SHOULD open. Perhaps some soap is still being released during the rinse period?? Still, there is no spotting. Tablet detergents now do not fully dissolve.
Last week the water-level control assembly (part 263834) $15.20) went and the washer didn't stop draining water and shut off automatically. Hopefully, Bosch will examine this part for possible redesign if it is inherently weak (I'll send them this evaluation).
BE AWARE OF:
If dishes are just off the table and can be quick washed, I found that a sufficient quick wash is possible by sprinkling some detergent (not much) into the washer directly and setting it on the RINSE cycle. This works fine with most dishes and is useful when you have lots of dishes from company, as long as you pre-rinse stuff under faucet. Full rinse cycle has two rinses, so first rinse washes, second rinse does the rest, all in 21 minutes!
Long washing cycles of up to 97 min, with regular cycle often about 75-80, and quick cycle 70-74--big disadvantage when you have company but otherwise only a minor annoyance that you adapt to.
IT NEEDS:
Larger capacity easier-to-fill wetting agent holder/dispenser
More durable soap dispenser.
More durability for the price (other evaluation sites' remarks are not as complimentary re. Bosch dishwasher durability)
Flip cover device on silverware holder to hold small items from moving out and to the bottom of dishwasher, e.g. sippy cup covers and parts, small light plastic parts, etc. We use a separately-bought small items basket.
