Bought unit expecting German reliability and solid engineering. After three years of ownership, I must admit I wasted my money. I have experienced two product failures that were not covered by the flimsy warranty.
First, one of the front panel switches failed. This was after only 12 months of use. Second, the dishwasher now makes a series of funny noises while in operation. Keep in mind, this is a dishwasher that touts it's quiet operation.
My attempts to get minimal service information from their online customer service has been fruitless. When I describe the problems I have had, their online response always steers me to a local service representative that wants to charge me for any service work or advice.
My general conclusion is that Bosch dishwashers are over-rated and over-priced. I would advise others to look at a domestic brand that has a better service record.
