I can't even drink drip coffee anymore! This machine is so easy to use, once you read the instructions. Now I make a latte every morning on my way out the door. I love only have to clean it every couple of days. The light goes on to tell you that it's full and you need to empty the used grounds. I just dump the ground and rinse it out. I don't think it uses a lot of coffee at all. In fact, I think it uses less. There's no waste. I always made too much with my drip pot and had grounds all over the counter all the time. Now I have a cup of coffee by just pressing a button. I keep a cup under the spout to catch water from the cleaning cycle. I find this easier than just letting it run into the drawer. There is also a cleaning tablet that you must purchase from the manufacturer that is used around every 200 cups of coffee. Again, easy to maintain overall.
