Capresso C1000 Espresso Machine
Made in Switzerland
One Year Warranty
After six months of harping on mine husband that I wanted a machine that could do it all, from making high quality tasting coffee to a mint latte, he ended up purchasing the Capresso C1000 Espresso Machine for me. (of course it helped leaving the advertising all over the house, so he knew exactly which machine I needed...ok, wanted.)
I know that owning this machine is a bit on the extreme side of a kitchen appliance, but with all the coffee and cappuccino I drink, this was the perfect appliance. Besides, instead of having to drink the can coffee, I do like the more expensive taste of fresh grounded beans. Plus when I have guests over, I do like to treat them to the finer things in life.
The features on this machine are fantastic. (another reason why I wanted this machine so badly)
A 30 second heat up time
One button push for grinding, tamping, brewing and cleaning.
Makes coffee, cappuccino, expresso and lattes in either 1 oz. to 16 oz. cups in less then a minute.
Two hopper: One to hold whole beans and one for pre-ground coffee
You can keep it loaded with two flavors this way, or decaf in one and caf in the other.
Six grinding settings
A water treatment system that filters and cleans the cold water to remove chlorine, and other harmful toxins
1350 Watt heating system that has a fast continuous output and a pre-infusion cycle maximizer for flavor extraction and crema topping
Three strength settings with one push of a button.
An easy to use frother for steamed milk or dispensing hot water.
Dual settings for cappuccino and latte
Automatic shut off which can be set from two hours to five hours
Automatic indicators for the used coffee bin, low water and cleaning cycles
One year warranty
A toll free 1-800 number for support
I must admit the machine is a bit bulky and is heavy, but after you set it up, there is no need to move it except for occasionally going under to wipe off the dust bunnies. To clean the outside, you just wipe down with warm sudsy water and rinse off with clean cotton cloth.
The machine is so easy to use it is almost silly. With all the buttons and controls, it looks difficult, but after reading through the manual, it all comes naturally. One button to grind and brew time comes through for you. Move the dial for heavy duty coffee, or lighten it up for a more delicate touch. And the aromas this machine gives out, I tell you it is just like back home when I used to visit the coffee shops. The whole house smells good when the machine is going.
Sure, the price is a bit high, but for the high quality that this machine provides it is worth every single penny. I have owned mine for the pass year (almost a year now) and I have never had a problem with it.
I highly recommend the Capresso C1000 Espresso Machine for the true coffee lover of your home.
