Pros: Truly awesome. Read full review for the full skinny.
Cons: Pricey. It does use a lot of beans; maybe that's why the coffee's so good!
After experiencing this unit first hand at a family friend's house, I had to get one of my own. The C3000 is hard to find now that it is switched to the S series, but I actually found a factory refurbished model for a fraction of the price but with the same warranty and all new factory supplied items and original box. Note: the S series is the EXACT same thing as the C3000 down to the trimming.
Pros: This is the best coffee you have tasted and it is incredibly easy to use. I make a cappuccino every morning and it takes about 45 seconds! You can program everything from a wake up timer, and automatic shut off timer, cup warmer, water amount and grounds amount. There are five different coffee/espresso programmable buttons (3 programmable and two are double cups. It is easy to clean and use. It tells you when the grounds bin is full, water bin is full, bean container empty, water empty, when Claris (like Britta) water filter must be replaced and when the unit needs a tablet inserted to run the clean cycle on the machine. So cool.
Cons: Pricey, even when refurbished. Milk froth tubing hard to clean, but works well enough just with rinsing with hot water. It does use a lot of beans. ...maybe that's why the coffee tastes so good!
I would highly recommend this to anyone who is a true coffee connoisseur/addict and who can afford not to suffer drip coffee or Starbucks again.
