This is a very expensive iron, but well worth the money.
Holds enough water for steam that you get plenty of ironing done before refilling is necessary. Iron is very lightweight. I have not had to use any starch since using this iron.
The fabric wrapped cord started to become unraveled within the first months of use (found out that this is very common). I sent the iron to the Rowenta authorized service center in Illinois and was quoted $90+ to replace the wrapping on the cord. There was nothing wrong with the iron so I sent them $6 to send the iron back and received a different iron. The iron they sent me was dented on the top, plastic piece missing from the iron, entire iron wouldn't even work, the cord was in worse shape than the one I sent them, and the inside of the tank was coroded from not being cleaned out. The owner refused to send me my iron back and repeatedly kept telling me that the iron they sent me was mine.
You should only buy this product if you iron frequently and have a little extra cash to spend. I recommend that you never send it in for repair, plan on just replacing it every couple of years unless it is under warranty. If you decide to send the iron in for repairs -- Mark your name on the iron and tank in permanent magic marker.
