Ok, I'll admit it, I'm a Kitchenaid person. I have a Kitchenaid dishwasher, toaster, and my newest addition is this coffeemaker. I'd decided I'd been through enough coffeemakers over the years, and I'm finally ready for the best--Kitchenaid. It makes wonderfully delicious coffee, the controls are user-friendly, and, okay, here's my shallow comment--it says "High Quality" to everybody who notices it sitting there on my kitchen counter. I like that it even can be programmed to beep when the brewing cycle is completed. Just to be fair, I do have a small negative comment and here goes: it has a very "heavy duty" type of electrical cord (similar in gage to an outdoor extension cord), not the sort of cord you usually see on a small kitchen appliance. This cord doesn't have a place to coil up inside the coffeemaker, so it causes the coffee maker to protrude out from the wall a bit. All in all, though, I'm enjoying my morning Starbucks even more these days, thanks to my Kitchenaid coffeemaker.
