I have had it for 2+ years. I would not buy it again. No fan speed adjustments. 3 settings for the temperature + 1 for fan. No remote. Cooling is taking too much time for my two small rooms. It is noisy when you run it on Fan only but when you turn AC compressor on it's too much. I wish I spent more and bought Panasonic or even Sharp I have heard only good things about them. Used small Panasonic myself years ago on Aruba and was very impressed. They are around 320.00 for 5-6,000BTU I think but well worth the extra money.
So stay away from cheap Whirlpools.
