dirutledge's Full Review: General Electric Profile PDW7880G 24 in. Built-in ...
I finally am updating the kitchen -- new appliances are this girl's best friend. Maybe it's because the old ones were so old, but I am very impressed with the GE Profile line of products. I got the whole kit-and-caboodle -- stove, dishwasher, micro and frig -- all in the sleek look of stainless.
This dishwasher is a dream!! You can't even hear when it's on. With the newer models these days (maybe it's been awhile, but I wouldn't know), you don't have the big spinny thing taking up space on the bottom rack. This means those pots and pans and TONS of dishes can fit. The utensil compartments have slits so you can be really neat, or they flip up to just throw the forks and knives where they'll fall.
The settings accommodate normal wash, pot pans, china / crystal, etc. (We normally rinse the dishes first so the Normal wash is all we've experienced yet).
Best of -- this thing is QUIET!!! The Normal cycle runs for about 50 or so minutes which includes a SENSING cycle (to determine just how dirty the dishes are), to Washing, Rinsing and Heat Drying.
The stainless look and classic appearance of all the matching GE products makes my kitchen look great. Plus, by buying the suite at Sears, I got an extra $200-$300 off!!
