Pros: Quiet and easy to load

Cons: Electronics are unreliable and unit should have worked better for the price.

The Bottom Line: I would not purchase this because of the unreliable electrical controller and poor rack design that allows it to fall out of the unit.

We bought this dishwasher because it matched our appliances and really looked great. We thought that GE had a quality brand and this was comparably priced to other brands. It had a stainless steel interior which held up well. We did not like the touch pad on the outside of the unit it would be helpful to have this feature hidden on top of the door.

The first sign of trouble was when the lower rack did not stop when you pulled it out. Once it started rolling out it just kept going out onto the floor with all of our dishes in it. There was not a stop bump on the door to prevent this from occurring.

The controller and keypad went out and were replaced within the first few months and we had problems with the drain even though it was hooked up per the specifications. After that the unit quit working. We eventually had to get a new dishwasher and needless to say did not buy a GE but replaced it with a Jen-Air which works great. I would not recommend this dishwasher unless you are putting it in a rental or upgrading to increase sales price
