Pros: Nice features, does a nice job for the most part, very quiet
Cons: Why do I have to do so much scrubbing?!?!?

Moving into our new home was a very exciting time. Not only was this our first home, but we were getting a much needed upgrade on all of our appliances, including our dishwasher. We had a very basic model in our apartment and upgraded our dishwasher option so we could get a very good quality one.
We've been a little disappointed.
The dishwasher itself holds a lot of dishes and has a very nice flatware basket (including a close down top on one compartment, which is great for little items which usually get blown out of the usual baskets). It has a several different cycles and delay features as well.
My biggest gripe? It doesn't always get the dishes clean and at this level, I would think that would be a rare ocurrance. I admit, I might be overly hard on it. I'm new to the idea of a dishwasher. I never had one growing up, so I'm still getting used to the nuances of being a dishwasher owner. I also expect that cooked on and baked on foods would be harder to get off, but I really feel that we have more left behind food particles than necessary.
Again, I will honestly admit that this might be my problem, but I really don't feel I should have to scrub every dish before putting it in. Isn't that why you have a dishwasher? SO you can stop doing dishes?
Overall, the dish washer does work nice, it's very quiet, which is a good thing, gets very hot, dries well and minus leaving more nuggets behind than I find acceptable, it works fairly well. I've found that by doing an extra rinse only cycle or two and will remove a large amount of what's left, and that's probably how we're going to do things.
I should note that we've been using this dishwasher for 9 months now, so I believe it should be operating normally. We cycle once daily, more often if we have dinner parties or family over.
