Pros: Usable Indoors, Very Warm, Easy to light
Cons: Poor Temperature Control, Very hot to the touch
The Bottom Line: This is a very hot heater. Great for indoor use, but be careful of its high temperatures. I wish it had a fan/blower and various temperature settings.

| teamsporttrac's Full Review: Coleman 5033-700 Gas Utility Heater |
The main reason I bought this heater over the others is because it can be used inside a tent. The heater is fairly easy to light and warms-up rather quickly as well. Coleman has since come-out with electric start on this heater - if I were to buy one again, I get the easy start for the added convenience.
The heater get VERY hot. I've camped in the snow (~27-30 degrees F) with the heater inside the tent. We actually turned the heater off a few times because it was so hot inside the tent. It would be nice if there was a temperature setting on the heater (low, med, high). But since there isn't, it's either very hot, or off. It would also be convenient if there was a fan or blower on the heater to direct the heat where you want it instead of just 'up.'
Be careful; I merely brushed across the top of the heater and part of my sweatshirt sleeve melted - instantly. Then, I moved my sleeping bag - brushed across the heater for an instant - melted it too, instantly! The wind blew the side of my tent and it barely tapped the top of the heater - melted a hole in the tent, instantly. Take caution when using the heater.
