I purchased this heater to replace a small, worn-out space heater and am quite pleased with the comfort level it provides. Because of it's whole-room heating characteristics, this heater should be called a "room heater" and not a "space heater."
My home is built on a concrete slab, which can get quite cold in the winter months and difficult to maintain a constant, evenly warm room. This heater effectively warms the entire room - not just the immediate area around the heater.
It was a bit more expensive ($99) than the other heaters I was looking at, but a 20%-off coupon at a local home and bath store helped make the purchase less burdening on the wallet.
Setup is quite simple, just take the heater out of the box and it's ready to use. Controls are easy to understand. I especially like the automatic climate control. This helps keep the room warm/comfortable automatically. With other heaters, you would have to turn the temperature down when the room became too warm. Automatic climate control helps keep the temperature output consistent.
The built-in "handles" are odd-shaped, but it is not difficult to move the heater around. I just pick mine up by the sides, since it is not hot to touch (even after it's been running for some time). If only this heater had a wireless remote control, it would be near perfect!
