The Sharp R230 microwave has done me good for my limited time of owning it. I purchased this microwave in May of 2007 because my appartment didn't have one and a microwave is definitely a necessity in any kitchen unless you prefer no radiation when heating foods.
I got the sharp R230 microwave at Walmart on sale for $70 and never even knew that microwaves were so expensive. I wanted something with a good price but looked decent and had all the options I needed. I loved the fact it was easy to use and all the buttons were easy to read. From the first moment I used it, I felt like I used it my whole life already because it has everything you expect of a microwave.
The microwave isn't the quietest but then again, it isn't too bad. For $70, I have no complaints. This microwave wasn't the cheapest one available but also was nowhere near the most expensive microwaves.
All in all, I recommend this microwave to anyone because it is not expensive, it is a quality item, it is easy to read and easy to use, and like it's manufacturer it is just "sharp".
