Pros: Simple no-brainer controls
Cons: Inaccurate and too simple
This is your basic no frill Gas oven. While it can cook a 22 pound turkey and does the job when it comes to the basics, this is not the oven for anyone who needs accurate cooking controls. The oven is simply controlled by a greatly inaccurate temperature knob.
The lighted interior is hard to see through the glass. You end up opening the door to check doneness.
The electronic controls consist of a clock and a timer. The computing equivalent of a $4 alarm clock. Incredibly cheap and disappointing in this modern age. Setting the clock is an exercise in frustration for anyone used to modern things.
Cookies will not always be the same as the temperature seems to drift plus of minus 50 degrees. Not a problem if you check the cookies often. This is not your electronic temperature controlled oven.
