Great Stove for a Great Price

I love this stove.
It is a simple, low-end stove, but what can you expect when you buy it used for $300?
My favorite feature is that when the timer goes off, you can push the cancel/off button--you don't have to search for the timer button again as with so many annoying microwave, stove & other electronic timers.
The burners aren't super high-powered (highest is 12.5K btu), but hey, it's not a bertazzoni commercial range, either.
The oven temperatures are true to temp--I never had to deal with burnt cookies or cakes from any uneven temperature, even without convection in the oven.
The lower drawer is an actual drawer, not the broiler. This is a benefit. It's kind of shallow but it feels solid and "durable" when you slide it in and out. Our new fancy five-burner stainless stove has a rickety drawer by comparison!
The window is nice sized so you can see in at whatever cookies you're baking and there's kind of a cool feature in the oven--the top rack is partially removable--the right half of it comes off, so if you have to bake two things, one of which is tall, you'll have room for both. Visualize Thanksgiving--your turkey on the lower rack with half the top removed on the upper, then a pie on the half upper rack and maybe some stuffing next to the turkey on the lower rack.
We're vegetarians but you get the picture. ;)
The only annoying feature I found was that the heat calibration (the high, low, etc) is written on the dials themselves and not the front of the stove, so it's a *little* tricky to read them. That's a really minor thing though.
We only used it for a few weeks in between a move and a remodel but it served us perfectly and I would definitely buy it again and recommend it to friends.
