Pros: The smaller oven is more useful than you think. 2 ovens without remodeling.
Cons: The stove is slow to cool. The lower/simmer temperatures don't work well.

You can never have enough oven space. We brought our Tappan from our last home, it's served us for over 15 years, similar to the set-up you have.

Lower full-sized oven, cooktop and slightly smaller upper oven. The upper oven on ours basically replaces the vent and is above the stovetop. I believe this set-up is available, at least two years ago, just rare. When we entertain, we are still playing "musical trays" trying to get everything done in sync.
