What a wonderful machine! I spent two years in homemaking hell, using a Fantom upright vacuum cleaner. I HATED it! My husband finally got tired of my complaints, I guess, and he took me to Sears, where I tried out the Kenmore Progressive canister vacuum.

I could tell as soon as I turned it on that it would out-clean the Fantom without any trouble. It was so easy to push, I thought it was self-propelled, but the sales lady said it wasn't.

It's advantages are many:

In case you are in doubt, I think this is the best vacuum I ever had. The runner-up would be my old Kenmore canister, which I used for almost 20 years, then lent it to my daughter, who passed it on to her sister, who is still using it. I got rid of it because I was diagnosed with a dust mite allergy, and I needed a HEPA filter. The Fantom was the first one with a HEPA filter, so I bought it--Big mistake.

Now nearly all vacuum cleaners have a HEPA filter, so I was able to return to a faithful Kenmore. I look forward to 20 more years of good use from it.
