Not my first Grill but maybe the Last

Pros: Very Even Heat hard to burn food
Nice to look at
Excellent build quality
Cons: So nice I actually clean it
Makes the neighbors envious
The Bottom Line: I only wish I had "upgraded" sooner! If you still on the fence just do it! You wont be sorry and the food is great.

First a little background: I have owned two other grills prior to this one. First was a Char-broil and second was a Kenmore that I believe was also a Char-broil. They both lasted about 5 years before falling apart. The last one was getting to be in pretty bad shape when I started thinking about a new grill. Friend had a Weber Genesis and was very happy with it which drove my decision. When I logged into Amazon and looked in my gold Box deal and found this grill for $479 with free shipping I was instantly sold. After delivery it took me about 20 minutes to carefully assemble this grill, it was very easy and instructions were perfect. Make sure you test you gas connections, it only takes a few minutes and can literally save your life! The instruction manual states that the grill will be "hot" for the first few uses. I found this to be very true and had trouble getting the temp below 500 F the first 10 uses or so. That was still not an issue because the food justs cooks perfectly! I have cooked hamburgers, hot dogs, BBQ chicken breasts, steaks, veggies, bread, steak fries, and my favorite Beer Can chicken. I don't generally use the side burner but it works well. I like the ease of use, turn on gas light grill, turn up to high, wait until grill stops smoking, use brass (Important!) bristle brush to remove last times gunk, lower temps and cook! The best way to utilize Weber grills is to leave cover down, keeps heat in and cooks faster and more evenly. I like to setup in three temp zones with high in back med in middle and low in front. Awesome Grill do yourself a favor and go for it if you are thinking about it. Grill is solidly built and should last with some care, I use a cover after every use. First grill Ive been motivated to clean! The stainless steel grates clean up easy with a SOS pad.
