This is really the easiest smoker I have seen. I realize that it costs a lot more than the ones at Home Depot, but it maintains temperature like a champ. It is easy for anyone who can start a charcoal fire to maintain a 200 - 250 degree temperature for 6-8 hours without doing anything. This is a lot more than I can say for my friends who have purchased the cheaper units and have had to make significant modifications to the units to make them maintain temperature.

I have so far made prime rib, pork ribs, pulled pork shoulder, beef brisket, several loads of chickens, and everything has been awesome. I will not take the credit either, as there are LOTS of good recipies and tips on Weber Virtual Bullet and Wiviott web sites.
The only real complaint is the the fit of the water pan is somewhat precarious. It must be filled in place, can easily be tipped over, especially if the lower grate is not in place. Otherwise, in typical weber fashion, this is the king of the grills.
