| jstancil's Full Review: Sanyo EM-P672W Microwave Oven |
Our 3 year old GE microwave bit the dust recently, putting us in the market for a new microwave. So, off we went in search of a medium to large microwave at a good price.
After looking over the offerings that several manufacturers had, we decided on the Sanyo model. This choice was based on two factors - The price was very reasonable and this one was the size we preferred (1.1 cu. ft. I think). Also this one came in white, which was important for my wife.
After we got it home and used it some, we realized what a good purchase we had made. The control panel has buttons for potato, popcorn, pizza, soup/beverage, frozen vegetable, frozen entree, fresh vegetable. In addition, you can store custom programs and there are quick defrost and total defrost buttons. Like most microwaves today, it has a turntable and a timer included.
At 1000 watts, this one is more powerful than we were used to, so that took some adjustment. We have found that it cooks the food evenly, and has given us no trouble in the year or so that we have had this appliance.
