Pros: They finally showed up.
Cons: Totally incompetent movers, didn't use padding or wrapping until asked, gouged us on price.
The Bottom Line: Bekins only cares about money, not your things. PleaseLook elsewhere!

| joem2009's Full Review: Bekins Van Lines |
Bekins came 2 1/2 hours late (driver and 2 "helpers"). The driver who was responsible for the move didn't even get out of the truck because it was hot, and had a couple of dirty, tattooed, incompetent losers load our furniture. One of them loaded a $2000 cabinet by pulling up a hand truck to it with no padding. We had to ask them to pad our furniture before moving it. The cabinet almost got dropped twice on the way to the truck, and ultimately dragged into the truck. One of them also decided to rest his sweaty arms on an antique chair with expensive pillows, to make sure they soaked it all up. Once we saw the caliber of the movers, we promptly called Bekins to see if we could load up on insurance, but unfortunately they won't once any of the pieces get moved. This was my second shipment with Bekins, but for some reason this one was less items, but will end up costing more money ($2400). When asked if they could double check the weight, they stated that we could go down to where the trucks get dispatched, have truck weighed, follow it to the house, have it unloaded, and follow the truck back to get final weight. I don't hold much hope for a majority of items coming undamaged...
Kid gloves keepsshowing up as yes, but it is a glitch in the ePinions system, so a definate NO!
