I have a 6 page letter that I sent to Bekins complaining about their service, broken items, was told information that was incorrect- which of course cost me money, my packages were repacked in my garment boxes making all my cloths 12 inches tall -- all of course needing ironing --some of which had to go to the cleaners. The driver told a friend of mine that my furniture would be in Texas if she didn't open the house for him! And there is 11 pages of complaint information in my 'puter.
The did not answer my letter and when I called I was told that they did get my letter, but the computer said my file was closed... huh?? I wanted 2000 back, they sent me 342.00. Additional complains to the Illinois Attorney General went unanswered 2x.
Need I say more? 12 pages of letter, and no better responses than they're not giving me a penny more. Two items they broke, my wicker bathroom cabinets would cost over 400.00 for me to replace since I can't use them at all!
Don't pick this company to deal with. Go somewhere else... better yet... move yourself.. that is what I will do the next time!
