Pros: They didn't murder my family.
Cons: I had to wait a long time and they broke my car.
The Bottom Line: Do not even think about using Dependable Auto Shippers. They ruined my car and did not accept responsibility.

I was moving from Ithaca, NY to Houston, TX. DAS was scheduled to pick up my car on June 28th, the day before my flight left. Due to flooding in the northeast at the time, the terminal that was scheduled to pick up my car was unable to get it that day. This was understandable. What was inexcusable was that the guy at that terminal kept telling me that he'd be able to pick it up in another day or two. So I had to have friends pass my car keys to each other (they were also leaving town as we had just graduated and it was close the 4th of July) while waiting for DAS to get their act together. Each day DAS said they would pick up my car, I would have to call this guy (he never called me) to find out why they didn't pick it up. Finally, I called his supervisor and arranged to have another non-flooded terminal pick up my car on July 10th. It shouldn't have been my job to organize their operations.
But it gets worse...
The car finally arrived on July 22nd. It looked to be in good shape. However, the first day I drove it up the highway to work, the engine quickly overheated and blew my engine to the point of no return. A mechanic told me that all of the water had either leaked or had been drained out of my engine during its transport. I filed a claim and after DAS's claims adjuster ignored my calls for awhile, I received an email telling me that my claim had been denied because the damage was a mechanical failure.
All I know is that I had a car in good working condition - I had just taken 3 road trips before the move and also had the fluids checked beforehand - and now the car is dead, and I have no compensation for it.
Dependable Auto Shippers is clearly a misnomer. Use them if you would like to throw money away and get no salvage value for your car. Otherwise, you would be better off driving it yourself.
