Pros:Actually performs as promised, communicates frequently
Cons:Absolutely none!
The Bottom Line: My time is valuable and these folks understand that. They also deliver as promised and kept in regular communication with us across the country.

We recently had to move from Southern California to Atlanta GA and we chose to rent a minivan and drive rather than drive our own car due to mileage. We also had way to much stuff, including two dogs, to fit into a Sebring Convertible. I began to speak to people I know in the car collector hobby and began doing research on the net. What I found was a potential disaster as it appears that this industry is virtually unregulated and just about anyone can claim to be in this business. It seemed to me that most firms were just brokers for trucking firms and very few auto shipping firms own their own trucks. Then I read all of the horror stories about missed pick ups and delivery’s, not to mention damage.

I also used several sites that claim to work with the best shippers and can get you bids from several companies. Complete waist of time as most of those firms are not well rated on this site or any other that I looked at.

I ended up going with Intercity after speaking with some others that never called my back and decided that it was worth a couple of hundred more to have my car shipping enclosed, and I mean enclosed as in the type of rig they move race cars in on the NASCAR circuit. They arrived on time the day they were scheduled to and were only there 30 minutes. We then left from California for Atlanta. Then I began to learn about service. While somewhere between Tucson and El Paso my cell phone rang. It was Jeanne who was part of the driving team along with Guy, asking how we were and where we were. We had a nice conversation and she said well we will be in Atlanta the afternoon you are scheduled to arrive. We then agreed to connect via phone again in the next two days and set things up. As it turned out they actually beat us to Atlanta by 24 hours and just as we arrived in town we stopped at our meeting place and our car was already on the ground ready to go!

These people are so great I have saved Jeanne and Guy's cell number and would wait for them to move any car I had to move in the future. If we need to get in there on time and in one piece, stop looking around, you found your answer as far as I am concerned
