To Whom This May Concern-

I am located in the Denver District office (7231-10) and I feel as a dedicated employee, it is time for me to take a stand after sitting back and watching our District start to flounder after the changes that have occurred over the past several months.
I understand that there are always changes that need to be made but when our top Staff and Agents start dropping like flies so does our revenue and morale. There has been a huge insecurity for all of our jobs and positions and I feel that it is affecting performance.
Over the past years Penske has hired some of the best management that I have seen in the time that I have been here. It was very discomforting to see that management pushed out once Penske recently transferred new district staff in. Just so you know, one of the new management that you transferred in has made it very clear that he does NOT want a female staff, period the end! He did make that clear to previous management that are no longer with the company because they would not agree with him. This man won’t give anyone the time of day as he sits in his office on his personal cell phone with his door closed. If he is not in his office, he is out of town from Thursday until the next Tuesday. He leaves the Assistants and Trainees to take over and answer questions in which they cannot answer. Then once the issues catch up to him, he refuses to take the blame. Well, that right there should explain ‘part’ of our poor revenue. The other ‘part’ as I watch our books stay in the negative is making me wonder why our new management chose to close our top Agents. Once again, I see that there are NO write-ups and nothing but praise and now these agents are gone overnight. I have tried to contact them and so should you.
There are concerns that need to be addressed to keep Penske out of the public eye and away from EEOC along with the court systems due to Sexual Harassment that Management and Upper Management is fully aware of for years between an Agent and a NRA. We have a large staff and it even made it to my desk. I know, lets keep it tucked away like everything else and get rid of that agent for what ever excuse they could come up with.

Penske is a great company to work with and we have a great product.
Where is it safe to ask questions or direct concerns? I’m not even sure HR would be safe watching the way this new Mafia is running things.
What have you done to this District and why?

Why was Mr. Hill and Mr. Thackeray so bound and determined to bring their friends out here from Nevada and California? Their stats are not due to them but to the economy. Commercial customers could no longer afford their personal units so they down sized and are renting now and the same with household.

Why was Apollo Transportation pushed so hard on us? Even when it was shown a major loss Mr. Maddox chose to continue to use them. Is someone getting a kickback?

Is our current management capable of making the correct decisions to be made to run this location?

The favoritism to the assistants that are not qualified to make decisions nor hold title.

Why is it that when our staff decides to give their 2 weeks notice they get terminated on the spot? It leaves us in a bind.

Why the termination in top management when there were NO write-ups nonetheless NO verbal warnings?

Why the termination of our top agents? Once again with NO warnings or write-ups in their files.

Honestly, I think I know why? Because these were the only people that would question and disagree with what was going on. So it was easier to make them look bad and go away than to answer their concerns before it went to a higher authority.

Myself and fellow employees watch the way that Mr. Maddox tries to run things when he is here and all we can do is shake our heads and hope that someone higher up notices. We can not afford to lose any other good people at the Denver District so if you could take the time to look a little deeper into the reasoning on why Penske paid all this money to have this management transferred in for us to lose so much more.

Thank You
