Cons:I feel that this company practices bait and switch tactics.
The Bottom Line: For my next move I would rather use mules then United Van Lines. They under estimated my move by 30%. Phones calls were never returned
The estimator came with a fancy gadget to give me an estimate for moving my household. He told me that there would be no surprises relating to the cost. How wrong he was. I feel that he gave me a low price and then charged me a much higher rate. The moving company held my house hold good until I paid them in full. At one time, their service department told me to write a letter which I did and was never answer The company refused to return my phones calls to discuss this matter. I feel that United Van Lines practice unethical.
