Pros:Great price, great features
Cons:Color?
The Bottom Line: Great machine, what more can I say?

I purchased a Husqvarna "Angelica" sewing machine in Dec. 01. I needed a good strong machine basically to be used for mending. I have a sewing/embroidery machine set up for embroidery that I do not want to have to dismantle every time I need to do mending. I chose this machine because I wanted a Husqvarna. I looked at a 555 but seeing that I already have a top of the line machine, I didn't feel I needed all of those decorative stitches. My dealer suggested a 415, after trying it out, I decided that this was the machine for me. My dealer then informed me that they had a great special on a limited edition machine, the Angelica, which is essentially the 415 but a different color. For the $200.00 price difference, I bought it. My machine is a nice shade of bright orange! I kinda like it. It looks like candy! Now, to the important stuff, this machine sews like a dream! Like all Husqvarnas, this machine requires no oiling. This machine features a drop in bobbin and thread diagrams for easy threading. The Angelica, like the 415, has 25 needle positions and has 16 stitches. There are straight, stretch, overlock(3), zig zag, three step zig zag, triple stitch, blind hem, edge joining, heirloom, satin(3), button hole and mending stitches on this machine. The display screen is easy to understand, telling what foot to use for what stitch along with recommended tension etc. The one step button holes are a breeze, you just decide how big you want it in mm and step on the pedal and you will get perfect button holes all the time! The machine features a fix button, this basically ties a not at the end of your stitching. It also has mirror imaging. You can also lock the reverse button for constant reverse sewing. The Angelica also has a large free arm area as well as alot of space for bulky items. This is a great machine for any one who loves to sew.
