I bought this product for the times when I knew I wouldn't have time to cook. I can just put my ingredients in, and let them slowly cook while I'm working, or doing other things. Then,with some instant rice, I have a delicious meal when I'm ready to eat.
I like this model, because I can store the leftover portion in the same pot,and then heat it on the stove. It cleans up very easily, and is great for keeping soup warm and ready to eat on cold days. As well as chili, stew, or anything you would like to keep hot and ready to eat.
I can also use this model to heat dinner rolls, hot dog,and hamburger buns etc. It comes with a special rack, so you can cook hot dogs, and heat the buns at the same time, and keep them hot.
It is a great time saver. The only negative thing I can think of, is the size. If you have limited storage space, that may be a problem.
It is an asset to anyone who works, or stays too busy for long cooking times. It does the work for you, while you do other things.
