Pros: Reusable mesh coffee filter; great travel mug design; durable.
Cons: I wish the travel mug was larger, but that's all I can think of.
The Bottom Line: This is such an easy product to use and to clean. It makes a great cup of coffee in a very short amount of time.

| barefooted's Full Review: Bodum Chambord 2032 6.34-Cup Coffee Maker |
I have actually gone through 3 of these coffeemakers. Now, let me explain something here. Im not like Granny with her ˝ a pot a day habit. I drink upwards of 3 pots of coffee a day--by myself. I love coffee. Coffee is my friend. sigh
I first bought one for my husbandhow convenient it would be for him to be able to just walk by and grab his coffee along the way. My husband just rolled his eyes at this (Im the gadget freak in this family). But within a few days even he had to admit that it was pretty cool. Hed set his coffee up the night before, get up in the morning turn the pot on, get ready for work and then grab his coffee on the way outalready brewed into the travel mug. No more looking for the @#&% lidafter you have poured your coffee.
It wasnt long before I bought an extra mug for me! ThenI found out that you can put just a normal coffee cup under the filter and as long as you use the same cup to measure your water, you can brew right into any mug! This was a dangerous thing because now, I dont have to brew a whole pot of coffee and let it sitbecause even when you drink coffee as fast as I do, it still gets a little old by the time you finish off the pot. Now, I could brew a FRESH cup of coffee whenever I wanted. I was in heaven sipping the fresh nectar of the Gods!
Then another brain stormbuy another to take to work! Oh yeahno more office coffee for me. I bought one and took it to work with me, set it on my desk and plugged it in. I also brought the largest bottle of water I could find (I now just refill a gallon jug) and my can of coffee. I didnt even have to get up to get a cup of coffee any more. I was the envy of the office.
My joy lasted for about 2 years when Coffeemaker #1 died a slow and painful death brought on by hard water deposits. Coffeemaker #2 didnt survive a cross-country move and was given a proper burial at the local dump. Coffeemaker #3 is sitting on our kitchen counter at home happily brewing about 20 cups of coffee a day. My office says it is too much of a liability to have a Coffeemaker at my desk, but were working on it.
**The mug is designed to be as unobtrusive as possible to your field of vision when drivingwhich at first I was like, hey great hypebut you really do notice a difference when you tip your cup!
**The coffeemaker comes with it's own reusable mesh coffee filter--that has yet to wear out.
**Even after repeated use the lid still fits tightly.
