I was in the market for a food processor. I did not want to fork out $200 for the 11 cup one since it would only be used most of the time for two people. I came across this product and thought about the blender. My old blender worked but it was a pain to get it into the base. This unit is very easy to use and cleanup seems to be fairly easy. The lid fits on the food processor very well so nothing can escape. I made homemade peanut butter. The recipe called for two cups of peanuts. Since the food processor is only 3 cups I used one cup of peanuts. It did a terrific job. Such power. Since I wanted more peanut butter I made another batch witch only took about 3 min. to process. This is my first Cuisinart product and it seems to work great.
