I received this fabulous mixer as a wedding anniversary present. It came with the standard attachments - dough hook, whip, and batter mixer. All of which are coated and super easy to clean up! There is also a large variety of attachments that can be purchased for all your cooking and baking needs and they are easy to find. I especially like that 6 quart mixing bowl. It gives me the option of being able to bake up to triple batches at one time. I have had this mixer for 4 years and have never had one single problem with it. It performs well every single time I use it. I have found the dough hook to be an indispensable feature. It also is stylish and remains a permanent fixture on my counter top. The mixer is very heavy,which is another reason I choose to leave it on my counter. I would not suggest moving it around for storage because of this. However, since the whole reason of having it is to use it - which I do several times a week this works out well to have it out on the counter. The outside casing is easy to clean up, but with the spatter guard used it is not usually a problem. After receiving this as a gift, the person who bought it for me bought one for herself after hearing me rave about how useful I found it to be. I would highly recommend this product as KitchenAid is a trusted brand name and has proved that again in this great mixer!
