Pros: KitchenAid Reputation
Cons: Full Retail Price (But I got a GREAT sale at Kohl's!)
The Bottom Line: Go out and buy it, don't wait for it as a gift. It is worth the money at almost any price (but certainly less is better).

| creampuff's Full Review: KitchenAid KT2651X Epicurean 475 Watts Stand Mixer |
Originally received the Ultra but returned it holding out for the Epicurean. It was WELL worth the wait.
Kitchen Aid style is a slick combination of workhorse industrial and decorator's choice colors. Bowl lift is marvelous (as long as you remember to lock in the back tab on the bowl...oops!). Motor operates smooth and strong. Soft start is extraordinary so you don't get any puffs from beaters flailing flour madly from the start.
It *is* heavy but it *does* stay in place. The wire whip created heavenly egg whites. I only miss getting my hands into the dough to knead but on the upside, the bread was NOT overworked.
This machine works so well and so fast, you need to be careful that you don't bake yourself out of the house!
I knew I wanted this mixer for a reason... It helps to unlock your inner baker! Enjoy!
