sudokomadame's Full Review: Panasonic SD-YD250 Bread Machine
I have waited 2 years of using our Panasonic SD-YD 250 before writing this review.
2.We bought the bread maker to bake fresh brown bread. Here local bread is poorIy made and I fought with the local baker! We bought our machine in Germany ; only the wife reads German, so I easily downloaded an English user book; First Plus!
3.We find it a perfect bakery to bake delicious loaves. I am a duress cook-bake when I have to. The Panasonic is great. Just follow the recipes. Adding CORRECT measure of water and fresh yeast were two aspects I needed to learn before my loaves were good as the wife's.To first add water, as suggested in the English user book - not in the German one, is a good trick to avoid scratching the base of the pot
4.The Nut dispenser works well though some seeds like Sunflower, Sesame, Linseed jump the pot during the operation of the machine. We now sandwich the nuts in the flour while loading. Saves on cleaning around the heating coil.
5. India [ Himachal Pradesh] has frequent power breaks so we bought a machine with a ten minutes Power interuption- the longest power brake we could find. The bake cycle allows easy manual manipulation and we have to throw away only three loaves [out of over 200] because of power break. Pretty Good.
