My Grandson will not eat any crust on bread.
This was such a problem for me, after I butchered the bread there would be hardly anything left as this is impossible to do.

One day as I was cleaning out my kitchen cabinet, I found the T-Fal Sandwich Maker that my daughter gave me for a present.
I remember using this many times, but when my kids moved out I had no use for this again as my husband did not like sandwiches made with this appliance.

I made a sandwich for my Grandson and found that it had very little crust and what crust there is can be cut away very easily without destroying the sandwich as I usually did making them the normal way.

My Grandson is very fussy and will only eat salami so any cold cuts that look like salami are salami to him, this includes bologna, ham, and of course salami.

Using the sandwich maker is quite easy.
All you do is plug in the sandwich maker and heat this appliance up.
It has a ready light that will tell you when the sandwich maker is hot enough to use.

All you do is take a slice of bread, I butter the bottom for extra flavor, put in your cold cut meat and top with another slice of bread.
This is placed into the sandwich maker, close the lid, lock it and your sandwich will be toasted in about 4 minutes.
I leave it in about 3 because fussy doesn't like his too brown.

He also likes pizza pockets which are made as a sandwich only tomato sauce is added along with mozzarella cheese instead of the cold cut meat.

The sandwich maker will make 2 toasted sandwiches using 4 slices of your favorite bread.
The maker has a pre-set thermostat for automatic temperature control so the bread will be toasted the exact lightness or darkness that you desire.

There is a ready light that will go on when the toast is done, this takes the guess work out of knowing when the sandwich is finished toasting.
The top has a locking clip and this is a good safety feature that will keep nosy kids from opening the top and getting burned.
It is best to stay near as the sandwich maker can become quite hot when you are using this.

Clean up is quite easy to do.
As this is made by T-Fal and all of their products have a non-stick coating that allows for easy cleaning.

I also use my sandwich maker for making simple desserts.
I fill the slices of bread with canned fruit, mostly apple slices with brown sugar and cinnamon added, but any canned fruit can be substitute.
When the bread has cooled, I top them with powdered sugar, ice cream or whipped cream.
This makes an easy and very tasty dessert that my Grandson enjoys often.

I would recommend the T-Fal Sandwich Maker to anyone who wants quick and easy sandwiches and desserts that are different from the usual way of making them.
My favorite is peanut butter and jelly, the peanut butter and jelly get all melted making it a gooey,sticky, toasted sandwich that is great for the waistline!!!
