Pros: The price
Cons: Not as strong as the more expensive mixers.
I got this mixer from my Mom after she bought it and she didn't like it. Mom is a serious baker and this one just didn't work out for her, but works for me just fine. I don't bake much so this mixer does the job.
This mixer even though it says it can handle bread dough my mom said she found it had a hard time with the dough itself. I have found that it will mix cake dough, cookie dough, pancake mix, whip cream, salad dressings, scrambled eggs and the basics just fine. It is very stable and won't sake and fall off the counter easily, The base is wide enough to hold it still while it is mixing. It comes with 1-1/2-quart and 4-quart stainless steel bowls, its 4-quart stainless-steel bowl and dough hooks, a 350-watt motor, 16-speed controls, chrome beaters, a very easy easy-release beater ejector, mixer-head release button, start/pause button, and an automatic cord rewind, which is great.
This mixer is easy to clean, just wipe with a warm rag and your done. I have had absolutely no trouble with this unit and I think it's an excellent value for the price. I like the handy booklet that tells which speed is recommended for each type of mixing job, all though I forget where I put it most of the time.
