I bought this smart stick for my husband as a birthday gift. He was always complaining that he could not make mixed drinks the way he wanted with my blender. Since I am not really a drinker I thought this was a good way to go. He could make his drink right in the cup he was going to use. I must admit that I probably use this more than he does though.
I love this for blending soups that are still in the pot. I would always have to wait until they had cooled before I could put them in my blender. I was afraid that the glass would crack. I can use this in my large dishes and simply adjust the shaft by pulling and tightening the ring where I want it. No more burns this is great. I have also made drinks, whip cream, and mayo with this.
The smart stick also comes with a grinder attachment. Simply remove the detachable shaft from the smart stick, using the release button. Then attach the chopper attachment. My husband uses this for small batches of salsa and dressing.
Now about the smart stick. The shaft extends an extra two inches to reach the bottom of tall pots and pitchers. Simply loosen the shaft to ideal length, then re-tighten. There is a one step on/off switch at the top of the stick. This smart stick has four speeds. It is easy to select the right speed for what ever you want to do chop, grinding, blending, or mixing. The control is located next to the on/off button. The extendable shaft is dish washer safe. The release button on the side of the smart stick lets you change the stick from extendable blending shaft to the chopper attachment. You can also remove the blending blade and switch it with the whipping attachment.Storage is also made a breeze. You are given a compact storage stand for your counter or for wall mounting.
This smart stick comes with a three year limited warranty. The detachable shaft, chopper/grinder attachment, whipping attachment, and mixing beaker are all dish washer safe. The top of the smart stick can be washed off or wiped clean with a wet rag.
I have used this at least once a week since I bought it six months ago. It works great. It is so easy to use and comfortable as well. I have not found my arm getting tired or tight feeling after using this. It can be used on hot or cold items so this is very versatile. I would recommend this to kitchen gadget lovers, couples getting married, or even for home owners. It is great.
