Pros: Different settings for each side, handles thick bread, even toasting
Cons: Odd shaped bread doesn't fit in (i.e., rye)
The Bottom Line: You can't go wrong with this toaster. The price and the ability to do exactly what it is meant to do make it a good value.

In my life, I have purchased and used many toasters. From the cheapest 2 slice model to expensive 4 slice ones. So far, this has been the best one I have used.
After nearly a year of use, it still toasts both sides of the bread evenly, although odd shapes like rye still extend out of the top, but I have yet to find any toaster that does well with that type of bread. It is nice when toasting for two different tastes too because you can set each side to brown to your preference. It also has a cancel feature where if you see that you have set the control too dark and you want to stop it, you simply turn the control knob to the left all the way and the toast immediately pops up.
The exterior stays cool, which is a plus when you have kids who tend to leave the bread bag too close, and it is easy to clean.
If this toaster ever goes bad, I will feel comfortable purchasing another one just like it.
