Pros:Lightweight, cordless, easy to clean out.
Cons:Not good for carpeted areas, not good for an "only" vacuum.
I purchased this vacuum based on the recommendations I read in Epinions, and also on the price. I was looking for something to help in between "real" vacuuming, and this seemed to fit the job.

I live in a studio condo with all hardwood floors. It is a small place, only 750 sq. feet, yet my regular vacuum's cord can't reach the whole place. I also have a dog. She is a yellow lab, and boy, can she shed!!
The floorbuster is like a large dustbuster with a handle. Just pop in the versapak batteries and go! I won't claim that the product is as powerful as a regular vacuum, but for daily fur and dust pickup, it definitely does the trick! I did try it on my one rug, and it really didn't work very well. It has a tough time pulling dirt out of the carpet fibers, so if you have many carpeted areas, this may not be the vacuum for you. It does do a pretty good job on hard floors, though. Again, not really for CLEANING, but for picking up loose dust and surface dirt.
The floorbuster is cordless, very lightweight, and easy to maneuver. The cleanup is simple, too. Pull out the dust cup and empty into the trash. The filter is washable, and replacement filters are sold, as well.
The floorbuster does the job it is meant to do, but not more than that. I didn't have lofty expectations for the vacuum, and so I was not disappointed. It would not be my choice for my only vacuum, but for quick interim hard surface cleanups, it fits the bill quite well.
