| clarkie_in_ct's Full Review: Hewlett Packard Photosmart 7350 InkJet Printer |
My wife and I purchased a digital camera and wanted to be able to print our photos. We purchased ours at a local "Mega-Store" after looking a several different models. HP was a natural choice, due to their reputation for great printing products. We bought this when it was relatively new, so we didn't have any friends to reference. However with that said, we bought the HP based on reputation, features such as the memory card slots, and sale person recommendation. We actually looked at a pricier model but the sales person really sold us on this model. When we got home we attached printer, and printed a photo taken in high density onto photo paper. I can honestly say I could not tell the difference between what we printed and a traditional photo taken with film. We have been very happy since. It's very easy to use, and the print quality is great. Since I also use the printer for my home office, I like the fact that can select FastDraft quality for emails and such items, which save the ink cartridges.
I also found that the ink cartridges last a long time with what I consider to be average use. There are 3 cartridges that can be used by the printer, HP Carts 56,57,58, which are Black, Tri-Color, and Photo respectively. Using the black is not necessary but it does save on the pricer ink cartridges when doing plain text printing. I consider the cartridges to be relatively inexpensive, at $19.99, $26.24, and $24.99, following the order above. I've had printers with carts as expensive as $40.
