Pros: beautiful prints, great workhorse printer, did I say beautiful printing?
Cons: Can be slow, ink smears until dry (not unique to this printer).
The Bottom Line: Buy this printer if you're looking for a quality product that prints excellent pictures. HP has produced another FINE printer.

| sir_tal's Full Review: Hewlett Packard Photosmart 7350 InkJet Printer |
When I bought this printer, I was looking for something that would print photos well. I also wanted something that would do a decent job printing papers for school for my fiancee and myself. I found exactly what I was looking for in the HP Photosmart 7350.
First off, the integrated card-reader caught my eye. I had been considering getting one of these card-reader things and had been researching them. With this printer, you get one automatically, as they wanted people to be able to print without a computer. With this card reader, you get a slot for every type of flash media there is, even Sony's Memory Stick format. Nice job, HP. What also caught my eye was the sleek look of this printer. I tend to like dark colors, and the dark gray of this printer pleased my eye.
When I got it home, I pulled out the media pack of different paper types and immediately printed out a couple of pictures that I had taken with a digital camera (Canon PowerShot S30...excellent camera). The first thing I noticed while printing is that this is not a speedy printer. It's not the slowest thing I've ever printed on, but it's not going to print your papers, pictures, or anything else extremely fast. If you're looking for fast, look somewhere else. However, when I pulled the printed pictures off the tray, I was blown away! These pictures were vibrant, and captured the colors of the subject extremely well! I took the pictures in autumn...the colors of the leaves were perfect. My fiancee's skin tone was captured excellently as well. The roses she was holding at the time I snapped the picture were a gorgeous shade of red. In short, I was seeing the picture exactly how I'd seen it when I was there! I am not a photographer, but I was amazed, and that was enough for me.
I showed the pictures to my fiancee, who is a photographer, and works in a photography studio helping to create gorgeous photos every day. Her words, "Aside from the obvious fact that the photo hadn't been sprayed with protectant, I can't tell that this wasn't professionally produced." She couldn't believe that the new printer had printed this. She was hooked.
The next big test I've put it through was printing Invitations, Envelopes, Maps, and Response Cards for my upcoming wedding. We printed around 175 of each of the things listed above on some pretty heavy stock. (Read: Very thick paper.) The quality of the output was phenominal, as usual. The invitations were printed perfectly, with no smears, or deviation in the orientation of the printing. (Nothing came out crooked.) In the whole printing process, I only had 1 instance where two invitations were fed to the printer at a time, and I attribute that to the type of paper we were printing on. We saved ourselves $300 by printing these bad boys ourselves, which easily paid for the printer and the cartridges we bought. The printer didn't blow up, and is still in perfect working order!
Since then, I have printed websites, papers, and everything else I can, and I have very few complaints about this purchase. When I bought this printer, it cost $200. It has since dropped in price, but the $200 I spent was well worth it, and if you can find it for less, even better. If you can handle that it doesn't print as fast as some others out there, then this printer will please you greatly.
