Pros: Photo quality excellent. Built in card readers. Can print without a PC.
Cons: Flimsy build quality. Ink not water resistant. Need to switch cartridges often.
The Bottom Line: All in this is a good but not great printer. Given the price drops since my purchase I would probably choose the speed, quality and colorfast inks from a Canon.

| flemo123's Full Review: Hewlett Packard Photosmart 7350 InkJet Printer |
This buy was a choice between the HP and the more expensive Canon S900. The HP won out by having good enough print quality and the on board card readers.
The readers are a useful feature allowing printing direct from cards versus the need to download to the PC first. You can also easily download to your PC using the single "Save" button on the printer. The printer has slots for all common flash card formats. You can read and write to the cards using this feature which eliminates the need for other card readers for even non-photo file types.
Print quality is very good although I have noticed that blues, especially in blue sky shots, seem to take on a purplish tint especially on 8x10 prints. There is also some ghosting around high contrast details. As with all ink-jets cartridge condition has a large impact on print quality. Print quality is also best on HP's Premium Plus Photo paper. (Probably the most expensive photo paper on the market). It is acceptable on cheaper HP and Kodak papers.
Print speed is rather slow when printing photographs. Not a major issue unless you plan high volume printing. I think the Canon's win out on both quality and print speed. Black and white text printing is fast although you have to manually switch out the photo cartridge for the Black ink cartridge to move between the two printing types.
Paper feeding has been near flawless in 6 months of operation.
My biggest problem with the 7350 is the build quality. I am now waiting on my second replacement printer from HP. A piece of plastic broke of the cartridge holder on the first printer which rendered one cartridge inoperable. I think this may be a common problem since you have to switch cartridges frequently. The most recent problem is with the mechanical sensor that determines that the 4x6 print tray is inserted. The mechanism is broken and needs internal poking to fix. HP basically told me this problem occurs in most of the printers and not to bother requesting a replacement as it would probably break also. I eventually convinced them to replace but it doesn't say much for the quality. For the record I am not a particularly high volume user.
