Pros: None to speak of
Cons: Failed to pick up pet fur or cat litter
I had two cats and about 1000 square feet of wooden floors that they kept messing up. I bought this Roomba to try to manage the constant onslaught of cat fur all over the house. It didn't work very well for my purposes for several reasons;
1. Roomba didn't suck up much cat fur or cat litter. Roomba more or less just chased cat fur further under the couch and failed to sweep up the litter which my kitties had tracked next to their box.
2. Roomba failed to clean a full room on one charge. I had large open rooms when I owned this Roomba that it seemed to get lost in. Then it would run low on it's battery before finishing it's job. It could only be used for a room at a time.
3. Roomba kept getting stuck in my apartment. It can't handle lots of tightly cramped furniture, small floor moldings, or under-couch navigation problems. It became annoying to have to constantly check on Roomba's progress
I kept my Roomba for about three months before giving up on it. I found it easier to just use a normal vacuum--- especially being a person with cats! You should not consider this product if you have pets or if you don't want to babysit it!
