Pros:Lots of different features, extremely user-friendly, and great battery life
Cons:Sound quality is only good up to a certain volume.
The Bottom Line: Get it. The only flaw is the sound quality. Honestly, unless you're throwing a party or something, you're never going to need to put the sound high enough to notice.
Docking stations can be tricky to pick out. There are dozens of different features that you have to pick through, and you have to pay attention to things such as sound quality and compatibility.

This iPod docking station is portable with a rechargeable battery so that it can play music anywhere. The life of the rechargeable battery is phenomenal; I find that when playing music from my iPod using the portability feature and the rechargeable battery, the battery on my iPod dies before the battery on the speaker is even halfway dead. It also only takes a couple of hours to recharge fully. There is a battery life indicator on the right of the screen that tells you how charged the battery is.
It charges iPods very quickly, typically taking up to two hours at most. However, it does not charge the iPod unless it is plugged into the wall. When using the docking station portably and relying on the rechargeable battery of the docking station, it will only play music, not charge the battery of the iPod.
This docking station also serves as a portable AM/FM radio, for which it includes an antenna. It has an auxiliary input outlet in case you have another audio device that is not an iPod, such as an MP3 or a CD player (the cord for connecting such devices is not included, but can easily be bought separately for around $10). It has an alarm clock that also works portably, and it can be used to wake you up to a buzzer, the radio, or your iPod.
It includes a remote control, so that you can control your music, the radio, and your alarm from far away.
The sound quality of this docking station is pretty fair. However, once you begin playing music closer and closer to full blast, you start getting a lot of static and fuzziness. Do not get this docking station if you plan on constantly blasting the volume to be as loud as it can get, because you will find that the sound quality is horrible. The volume levels go from 0-40, and I typically leave mine around 20, which is more than loud enough to fill a 12x12 room. Once you start getting into the 30s, the sound gets bad.
(iPod not included.)
