Jolee's Boutique beads are Swarovski crystals which come in a little storage container that contains 15 size 6mm bicone crystals.  The crystals come in a huge variety of colors, but one of my favorites has always been the Swarovski Chrysolite. 

I've always been partial to pastel colors, and these are beautiful.  The picture depicted here at Epinions is not a very good representation of the actual color.  Chrysolite is a pale green color, almost a mint green shade.

Bicone beads are just as the name suggests, they are pointed at both ends, as if the large end of two cones were placed together.  The beads are faceted and shine like real gemstones, especially when they are introduced to natural sunlight.  The holes are small, but plenty large enough to be able to string these onto jewelry wire or head pins.

I have the Chrysolite bicone beads in a variety of sizes, including 3mm and 4mm.  These look really nice when paired with coordinating beads for earrings, or used with smaller sizes of the same color when making a necklace.  I like to pair them with Alpine agate beads, the two colors compliment each other nicely.  Or you could mix them with stones that have more of a contrast, it's up to you.

There's really not a lot more to tell you about these bicones, but I have found them to be the most versatile shape when making earrings, and the Swarovski quality can't be beat.
