I bought these earphones from Circuit City for only $8 (a bargain by most standards). What attracted me to these earphones (besides the price tag) was the advertised memory foam, which would allow the earphones to take the shape of your inner ear resulting in a more comfortable hearing experience and isolation from the noise around you. Two great features, right? Wrong. Things are not always the way they are advertised and this is one of those cases. The memory foam is nowhere near to as durable as you might think it is. It barely moves to fit your ear so unless my ear is exactly the same size as the ear piece to begin with, this is a lie. Do not be tricked into thinking this is like the memory foam used for beds because it's not. Additionally, the ear piece overall is slightly larger than other ones in the market though not by much. On the other hand, the noise isolation has proved to work (I travel on the subway and can tell the difference). Sound quality is pretty good for watching movies and listening to music in a moderately noisy room. In my opinion, these are a pretty good pay if you can find them on sale for under $10 like I did. Otherwise, it might be a little too expensive for the sound quality you are getting in return.
