Pros: warm, plush, soft, Simba, goes well with Lion King Nursery Collection
Cons: creme color shows dirt quickly, price
The theme for my grandson’s nursery is the Lion King. One item my daughter in law received at her baby shower was the Kidsline Disney Lion King Blanket.
The Lion King Blanket is a crème color blanket that measures 30” x 40”. It has a dark brown trim around it and features Disney’s little Simba lying on a leaf in the bottom right corner. The blanket is a soft plush embroidered boa blanket. It is made of 100% polyester. The Lion King Blanket coordinates with the Lion King Nursery Collection.
I think the Lion King Blanket is a nice size, is comfy and warm. We place the blanket over my grandson in his car seat to keep him warm. I have also used it to cover him when sleeping. Now if he would just keep the blanket on and stop kicking it off, it would keep him warm.
I like the Lion King Blanket but since it is a crème color it does show the dirt quickly. My grandson loves to put everything in his mouth so of course he tries to put this in his mouth and tends to get slobber all over it. The blanket is washable and has washed up nicely each time. I have also dried it in the dryer without any issues or shrinking. The blanket is still soft and plush.
My daughter in law saw the Lion King Blanket at Babies R Us and had it on her baby registry. The cost was $17.99. I do think that is a bit expensive but it is a cute warm blanket. I have also seen the blanket sold online but for about five dollars more. The Lion King Blanket did make a great baby shower gift. It does go well with the rest of the Lion King Nursery Collection too.
We have used the Lion King Blanket for four months and it really doesn’t show any signs of wear. It seems to be a well-made blanket.
If you are decorating you nursery with the Lion King theme I do think the Lion King Blanket makes a nice addition. I was glad my daughter in law received it as a gift since the blanket is on the pricey side.
If you are looking for a nice warm blanket for your baby, I would recommend the Kidsline Disney Lion King Blanket.
